Dear Secular Artistes

DEAR SECULAR ARTISTES I understand people misunderstand people, so most of the time i choose to keep my mouth shut. All i see presently are conflicting posts and comments about gospel artistes. Few weeks ago i saw a post on facebook i’d ignore but describe as “Crapola” made by a secular artiste about gospel artistes not supporting secular artistes by sharing links and all that.. Hey, how would you expect me or any other gospel artiste to share songs with contents that conflict with every bit of the message we put out for public consumption. I do not see my self separated from you guys. As long as we have clean spirits and make good music that sends a positive message, we can always support and collaborate with each other. I mean.. I don’t see secular artistes as sinners, and even if anyone thinks they are, that’s not a good reason to keep a distance. we all have choices and everyone has a consequence to bear respectively. Music is meant to heal, to give hope, to bless, to motivate, to inspire, to entertain, but when your expressions become perverse you can’t get support from all people. we have specific audience the shared stuff could get to and it’s obvious 18+ songs with lewd content don’t appeal to them, so respect and understand our decisions and stop calling us hypocrites, we’d only be when we give in and share the filthy stuff. Backclash come alive when you show up with the delusion that there is a line between. Put tribe and religion aside. I’m a ‘christian’ rapper, i also do gospel rap/music. #Peaceout
